MAKOTO Stoneware Teapot, designed by Carsten Gollnick and made in Portugal, feature matte glazes in warm Nordic color tones. MAKOTO embodies the Japanese spirit with its clear geometries and subtle bases which give the appearance of a floating lightness. The metal handle can be used both upright and sideways, while hidden silicone elements ensure a secure grip and protect the glaze. A removable tea strainer makes preparation and cleaning easy. When pouring, lightly hold the lid in place.

• Pour heated water into the container. Tea strainer will steep tea in the teapot.
• Colors are intentionally designed differently by Gollnick: Moonbeam looks like a moon surface landscape while Elephant Skin is smooth and matte.
• MAKOTO Teapot is dishwasher safe. Do not heat on stovetop or in microwave or oven.
• Each piece is unique, with small variations which appear during the firing process and which give the designs their character.
